My name is .............. and I rent at Camden Lakes in ST. Petersburg, FL. My wife and I have had nothing but problems with the management here sense moving in. It first started with my BBQ grill, which is very large and cannot fit on my back porch. The person who filled our paper work told us we were allowed to have one upon moving in. I neatly placed my grill under our landing with a grill cover atop. Camden management told us that we were not allowed to use grills on the property. But we could only store them here.



The next problem we had with the management was about me properly displaying our American flag. I am a member of the United States Armed Forces, I deploy and fight for this country and provide freedom to others. I find it very insulting that the management told me to take it down because the apartment complex had to be uniform and that my, AMERICAN FLAG VIOLATED the uniformity of what they call, "our beautiful apartment community." This place is far from beautiful, and in fact this is (please excuse my language) the most --------- and money hungry apartment complex my wife and I have ever lived in.



The next problem we have had here is the trashy people they allow to move in. Camden put a family of four on top of us who were very loud, extremely racist and had no respect for the people around them. They were louder than a war zone in Afghanistan. They caused my wife and me many problems, physical and mental. My wife was threatened many times by these people and I was also. One night in the mist of there noise making we asked them to please be quiet, the woman got nasty with us and said it was us who were loud. My wife and I read books a lot and never have parties. They called the cops. The cops had been called on them 10-15 times, and not by us every time.



The cops knew they had a reputation for making noise. They only came to there apartment and told them to be quiet. They did not like the outcome so instead these people called there friends over and they stood outside our door and said, "why don t you crackers come out of your house and ill show you what a real ----- be all about... yea ----- you and your ----- ass wife cracker.. Yea dats ---------------------------- aint goin come out side. dese crackers crazy round here------------------------". The management eventually kicked them out after my wife filed harassment charges. Apparently they were under evasion in the state of FL and couldn t pay there bill s.



We had made many complaints and wanted to move out. When we tried to talk to the management they showed no concern of why we wanted to leave. Instead ------ hung up on my wife. Which we then had to drive to the office and waist 20 min of our lives we will never get back. Because none of the management cared about what was going on. Camdens customer service sucks.



Once they moved out things returned to normal....somewhat. We would get these little notes on our door about the trash can. There valet trash service that we pay $10 monthly for only comes Sunday-Thursday. Camden gives us these little single bag trash cans that are really dirty. They expect to keep them in our home which is clean. They want to charge us $25 a pop if we don t keep them inside our house. I am not keeping a trash can that is disgusting in our clean home.



Then came their mandatory cable bill. I have a sweet deal through my cable provider, and no one can beat the price that we have. Camden said they did this so called "survey" that I never was informed about or participated in. The outcome stated that that 90% of tenants wanted basic cable. So the management took it upon themselves to make everyone sign an addendum to buy $35 in basic cable every month. This Sweet deal is going to cost me $30 more a month on top of my cable bill and I already have basic cable. I hate this place. Is ------ s wife running this place' Because they cannot make people do this. I refused to sign the addendum.



There latest stunt, has been bugging the people on our emergency contact list with these emails. Apparently it is such an emergency for them to email our parents about a red blanket I have covering MY window on the INSIDE of MY home that I PAY for. What happens on the inside of my home is nobody s business. As soon as Camden starts paying me to live here I will adjust my house according to what they want. For them to email my emergency contacts is a violation of privacy and not only that, they are sending them emails about a damn blanket. As far as I am concerned this place and corporation can go to hell. I am going to start filing complaints with the state and write a few Government officials that I know who work with the governor if this place cant get there ---- together.



I don t think I can list every problem in just one email. The buildings here are rotting from the outside but they spend enough money on the bushes to cover that up. My wife and I have had the worst living experience here. But Camden is living excellence right'. I think you should change that to living hell, because that is what we have gone through since moving in here. Any other complex we have rented at will vouch that we are excellent tenants. They will tell you that we are quiet people and they never have had problems with us. Here they treat us like were ---- bags.



I have friends that I work with that live in Camden lakes and Camden Bay Shore in Tampa. They have had the overall same experience. ------ apartments that cost way too much. ------ management and an overall ------ experience. My buddy was paying $700 a month, renewed his lease and his rent went to $1400 a month. His complex has crappier housing than ours and 2 miles from him he could get a brand new apartment with stainless steel utilities for less than that. I am pretty sure you get these emails all the time. So here is another. I Am tired of this place and am one step away from filing complaints and moving out. I know how a chain of command works and I do not want to blind side anyone. I am advising you of this now before I take action. I would also like to say that I will never recommend anyone, even someone I dislike to move here and rent from your corporation. I will never rent from Camden again. I would rather be homeless thin give Camden my money. Hopefully you will take me seriously and investigate these issues before the state has too. You should focus on there customer service too, because it sucks. It sounds like you are having so much problems because you can't seem to be able to follow rules, If the community now includes cable you have to accept it or you have to move out camden is not forcing you to take the cable now, but when you are up for renwel you would have to or you can move!!! they don't allow you to leave your flag out because the community has to look clean and if they make an excetion for you they would have to make it for everyone else and then the place would look like trash, and yeah you are not allowed to leave your trash can outside your apartment!!!! but I guess ur just to good to have to follow the rules like everyone else. Please move we don't need neighboors like you anyways.

I bet you didn't even know what addendum stood for yourself. Ya evil fuk!! If you could read you would have seen that he does not think having a flag outside his apartment is trashy. That A hole of manager made him take it down bc they said it made the place trashy. I think its trash like you that makes this place ???Ghetto.??? I come from a Military family, so I appreciate and have much respect for those guys putting their lives on the line for us, but you I think you???re a low life peace of crap. Next time your overseas I hope a rocket flies up your anus!! Your probably use to having stuff shoved up there. That is if you really are in the Military. Also FYI overseas is one word Sweetheart. As for the guy with the issues, I agree with you a 100%. This place sucks! We have Middle East ---- living under us and they are continuously banging on walls and somehow shaking the apartment, so I feel your pain when it comes to moron neighbors.

I never said If I was or wasn???t in the military, so unless u know if I am or not u need to shut it.
