My husband and I moved in 3 months ago and we can't wait to leave. when we signed our lease, we were told that Camden has a website they recommend using to sign up for power/cable/phone/etc. we signed up for cable and power, the day we moved in, no power. We didn't have power for 3 days. When we went to the office the next day, another leasing agent said the recommended site is great for everything except power and in lesser words, that we were S.O.L. on having electricity for the weekend. I asked for a refund for the 3 days we couldn't live there since it was their site they they recommended that caused the lack of power issue. They said it was the power company's fault and that we should have gone directly to the power company's site to sign up. When my husband asked what were were supposed to do for 3 days, the agent said and i quote" its a sunny day, why don't you open the windows".

Fast forward a couple weeks, our dishwasher isnt bolted into the counter, if you put something too heavy on the top rack and pull it out, the entire machine will fall on you. Our sliding screen door falls off, and the thermostat doesnt know what temperature it really is. Made a call, they "fixed" it that day but left drill holes in our counter and chunks of the counter were missing and the work area was filthy. Oh well, we deal with it. everything else was fixed so whatever.

Another week goes by, the laundry facility uses a credit card type system, you put money on a card, and use the card in the washer/dryer. The machine in the main facility gets vandalized and removed. to this day (2 months later) it hasnt been replaced. So we started going to the lauyndry facility near the gym, the machine there took debit cards instead of cash. this past weekend, we go to do our laundry, THAT machine has been vandalized. and those 2 machines are the only way you can put money on your laundry card. We reported it being broken on Sunday as soon as the office opened (one in the AFTERNOON) and they said hopefully by Monday it would be fixed, its now Thursday, no machine, and we have to go off-site to do our laundry in a coin operated facility. You would think someone would have considered security cameras at this point.

Our newest issue, the building we live in, is the same building as one of the leasing agents. The agent has a dog, a very loud, obnoxious, constantly barking dog. A dog that barks until the owner gets home, sometimes 8 or 9 at night, And I don't see it doing much good to complain to the office, when the problem is in the office.

If you value your sanity, don't even bother looking at this place or any other Camden for that matter.

Wait until you try to move out. They charge you for everything. We got charged $75 because our apartment "smelled like spices." The leasing agent said, "This apartment smells like you've been cooking something. We'll have to put an air ionizer in here." Imagine that, we actually cooked food in our apartment. What do they expect you to do?

Yea, There all duches in here. i hate this place. I sent a letter to corprate that is on this forum, sue called me and basically told me i could just move out. No care for any customer service. Hey if you need to charge your laundry cards go over to lakeside village. Drive on 4th ST going north turn left at 7/11. Take your first right into lakeside. Take your first right that you come to once in lakside and follow the road back, it will curve to the left.....curve left. there are 2 sets of parking lots. turn left into the second parking lot and you will see a walkway. go through that center walkway and off to your 1:00 you will see a door with a button activated lock on it. hold 2 & 4 and press 3. it should open. inside there is a card charger---Cash only that will work for camden. it might try to jip you money but just pull the card out if it does and then re insert it. it should tell you the last amount you put into the machine and change the balance to reflest. BTW Fu*k camden lakes and all its staff.
