It SEEMED great AT FIRST- well we were wrong! Maintenance is always over fixing things (thank god for them), we had a major leak/flood in our apartment due to a pipe breaking and Camden didn't do a thing to compensate for a thing (such a damage, or an increase in our electric bill for all the fans that were used to dry the place). Staff is very incompetent and are very idiotic. Camden makes the worst choices and just always screws over tenants. It is way to expensive for what you get.
-They block off roads for days to re-pave (re-pavement should be that last thing they need to worry about)
-Only ONE laundry room has a machine you can re-charge your laundry card- and you can ONLY use a debit card to put money on your card (they removed the others!)
-Apparently rules don't apply to the staff who lives here
-You get letters on your door for the littlest things- no drying beach towels on your balcony, you HAVE to have white blinds showing
-Nobody picks up their dog poop!
-Staff can be frustrating and you tend to question their intelligence (especially ------)
-Their sprinkler systems are awful!! There is one that shoots straight up in the air (about 12 feet) and most of them spray the sidewalks so you cant walk anywhere
-You say something to the staff about things- and they just shrug their shoulders
-They refused to clean the pool in March because it wasn't "season" yet- its always pool season in Florida!
-The stairwell outside our apartment was being rebuilt (we live on the first floor), and the guys broke our window with a board and Camden did NOTHING
-Everything breaks from the garbage disposal to the sliding doors to the pantry doors
-There is so much mold in our bathroom and all over the bathtub
-Tried to pay our first month's rent online- didnt work, though, and they still charged us the $50!

I lived there for 2 long years. Is the ----- manager still there? She is the one responsible for everything. Get a digital camera, take photos, get a lawyer and go after them. By the way, talk to the maintenance men (out of view of the ----- manager.) They hate the place so much they will tell you all you need to know. Out of there and delighted.
