STAY AWAY FROM THEM; they are thieves waiting to steal your money. Very low quality apartment rooms with MOLD and leaking roofs. Because of the leaking roof we moved out and after moving out just because the key was delivered early morning at 6:00 AM they charged another days rent extra, Initially the rent may look attractive but the way they take away all your money is unbelievable here are some Valet trash, garbage collection, admin fees, TV rental fees (mandatory), so in effect a person with $850 rent will be paying $1025.

We agree. We will write a review condemming the office staff for being a bunch of "chicks." That is all they are about-they sure make no attempt at professionalism.

Granted the mandatory fees kind of suck, I have never had a problem with the way they handle situations. The office staff are very friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our a/c unit and later on with our oven, both problems resolved within 24 hours of a call or email.

Um first of all the office is not full of all "chicks" Considering. Second of all although the apartments are poor quality, ALL complexs squeaze money out of you. So GET OVER IT. I do not work there but I've lived there for almost two years. The only major issue I have is I wish they had washer dryer hook ups. My laundry was stolen there once, but I have a feeling it was planned by someone following me. LIKE my roommate. When my EX roommate went physco on my and the front office the ladies (ladies at the TIME) were both VERY professional. I love CAMDEN's staff. They have new management which makes them even more excellent.

All the good reviews about this place is written by Camden Employees and not real tenants. Thats the only reason they have possitive responses. I checked with atleast 9-10 people who lived there and every one was pissed off.

My issue isn't with the staff (whom I've always found couteous and helpful) but with the management group. The apartments are kept in a perpetual state of disrepair.... in the last 10 months I've had them out multiple times for a leaky roof, no A/C (twice), no heat, the garbage disposal, not to mention the pourly draining plumbing, inadequate water pressure, and way tooooooooooo much mold in the walls and vent system. I would not recommend this complex to anyone.

I beg to differ re: the post that states all good reviews are written by Camden staff; I've lived here 8 years now and although it's not Utopia, the problems I've had have been minimal and fixable. I may have had to follow up once or twice, but compared to horror stories I've heard from other people, I'll stay where I am. I have no problems with the staff, and if I do, I'm vocal about it so anything that was bothersome was resolved. I checked with a maintenance person there once and he said there are over 630-something units at Camden, so I guess the 9-10 people you spoke with must have just recently moved in. If you don't like it that's your opinion; however, you always have the option of moving.

I lived at Camden Lakes for 6 months. I wouldn't wish that filthy place on my enemy. My apartments roof leaked the entire time i lived there. In both bedrooms and the living room. We had horrible mold in both of the bedroom and around the AC vents. I am in the process of filing claims with the BBB, EAP, as well as in Landlord/Tenant courts to dispute my "breaking lease" fee. Apparently, no matter how many times you call to complain or ask to be moved to a different building, it's not enough. Camden believes tenants should be forced to live in sub-standard and hazardous conditions. Any one who likes mold, rotting wood, and a management company that tries to bleed you for every dime will love it.
