My wife and I have been living with a roommate who decided to break the lease and move. We cannot afford the rent without him, needless to say he is really screwing us. What makes it worse, I called the leasing office to tell them that I am not willing to let him out of the lease. They told me that they made a mistake and are letting him off scott free. We have roaches and raccoons. They never pick up the garbage on time, if at all. There are piles of either raccoon or dog crap in the hallways and stairwells. There are also wasps' nests everywhere. I would expect this stuff from a place charging $100/month in South St Pete, but not from this place. Buy a trailer instead.

You made the mistake to board with a roommate. Don't take that out on the office personel. Wasps nests are an issue no matter where you live in Florida, it's a part of the natural habitat here. Issue's with dog crap, should have talked to your neighborly dog owners. I've seen the Coves pressure washed twice in the last 17 months. Valet trash has never missed a pick up day. Just don't place trash out on Friday and Saturday nights. You would know this if you read your lease. Oh and you should have had the lease explained to you when you brought on a roommate. I've been there and done that, with no issues 3 times over!
