I moved into Emerald Pointe apartments in July of 2004. I counted the days until my one year lease was up. I had a third story 2 bedroom apartment which was an end unit with a porch. It looked great (somewhat) but it turned out to be cockroach infested, noisey, and just downright dirty. There were ALWAYS children outside screaming, a lawn crew was there on days i had off, so no sleeping in, questionable people walking the halls, and people from EVERY APARTMENT COMPLEX ON FOURTH STREET using our pool. It was horrible. I would not under any circumstaces live there again. The office manager was rude and impoliet, uncooperative, and a liar. I did not like the attitude of the people who worked there, the questionable people who lived there in crappy apartments with really nice cars (hmm wonder what they are doing with there time) and the area it was in. I wouldn't want to live there nor even THINK of raising children there. Not a place to walk to your car at night alone either. My brand new VW car was vandalized *FOUR* times in the parking lot during the *DAY*. Horrible apartments, dirty experience and would NOT EVER want to live there again. And the property manager was not even nice when it came to moving out, or the security deposit. Be sure to look at other places, because this one still gives me nightmares.
