I applied to get an apartment and was approved on the spot. I set up a move in date and got all my things ready to move. The day before I called in to confirm that I was still scheduled to move in and they confirmed that my application was approved and I could move in. On my move in day I went to the leasing office to get the keys to my new apartment and sign the lease and I was told that my application was denied. I asked to speak with the manager and the woman informed me that she was the manager. I told her the woman I had spoken with told me TWICE that I was approved and I had even set up a move in date. She said she had just went through my application and it was denied and they couldn't let me move in. I was beyond pissed. I haven't never been to such a disorganized apt complex in my life. There was no reason for my application to be denied. The 'manager', who ever she is, is such a -----. I hope the apt complex burns down.

I'm a leasing agent, have been for quite a few years now....to all of you reading this NEVER allow any apartment community to do this to you! Once they approve you, that's their problem if they overlooked something, especially on the day you are scheduled to move in. UNLESS you have a previous eviction, or a criminal charge on your background, NEVER let them pull that on you and get away with it! Immediately call a lawyer while you are in their office, and watch what happens!
