can't wait till i get out From: lessy Date posted: 10/31/2007 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2007   Life sucks - I had to renew a contract for another year in here... here is what's the problem with this place - MANAGEMENT! I would say that the buildings are getting old, but it is livable, esp. if you have no choice :) I'll assume that all apts are pretty much the same - big and bright... only thing I'll never understand - who the hack wants darn windows in the kitchen and living room when they will never be open, because everyone who is trying to get to apartment have to pass by (this property even advertise this annoying and uncomfortable feature as a very modern and cool thing to have!'!) It s just another attractive thing for small crooks... The privacy - one thing I can't live without- if you are moving here you should know that last thing office stuff and maintaince personnel care about you and your privacy!!! - get use to it!...nobody cares! The manager can enter the apartment whenever he feels like it, with a friendly reminder one day prior entrance and smiley note that you don't have to be at home!'!! Same thing with maintaince ppl... if, unfortunately, you have something that needs to be fixed - you will place an order for it and they will come... when and what time - is the biggest mystery... they can't even say the day, so you could stay at home and wait... when I tried to explain the absurdness of this procedure, smiley faces are gone and you are not a friendly tenant... Even though you live in apartment - it is your home. I don't know who would let some stranger in the house without appointment... When I tried to ask them if they would let some1 in their house - they are not giving me the answer - they just saying that they had never had complains about something being stolen or etc... Right... what s the point of complaining' I have tried several times - for example, when on first week of my moving in here some1 broke into my car at 2 in the morning!!! They say they can't help it - it happens, also that they are not responsible for your property and pointed me to the contract... That night 5 cars were broken into...Next morning my neighbor told me that several weeks prior that night 19 cars were robbed in one night!!!, including both of his cars!!!! Nobody told me that in the office... Umm what else - laundry room - be aware!!! Dirty! Dirty! Dirty! And cost a fortune... and only if it worked... and again - no point complaining - they have this funny way of fixing stuff - it will brake same day or the very next one! Hehe didn't mean to scare all of you away - just can't stand poor communication skills and people unfriendly stuff. Well... good luck ppl!
