I have lived at Flagler Pointe for 5 years. I was here when the place was a mad house but it was close to where I worked so it was the best choice for me at that time...since the new manager came in and there were a few before her..I have seen real positive changes..all the bad people are gone...no more drug dealers and shaddy folks..I feel safe and they really have made huge steps to make FP a safer, prettier place. I now love living at Flagler and am less than a block from the most beautiful view of the Sunshine Skyway you could ever see...better than any pic could ever show you...as for Flagler they just got new gym equipment in, they painted all the outside shutters and they are planning to redo the parking lots...I can't wait to see what else Flagler has in store:) Keep doin what your doin and take my advice, don't listen to the bad things people write on here...I live at Flagler and there must be 1500 people that live here and all you have is a few bad apples...every place does.

FAKE!!!!! I recently went into the office to possibly rent a unit and the office staff "seemed" so kind. Once I got to the lease, however, there were many shady clauses that I was supposed to sign. They basically released the management from ANY responsibility in events such as bugs, mold, etc., developing in the unit. At that point, I RAN away. Any one that would base their opinion of choice of residence on a "remodeled" parking lot and a view of a bridge from a highway several miles away must have another agenda.

I find it extremely offensive that those who have legitimate complaints are referred to as "a few bad apples." There are more of us who are unhappy than those of you who claim that it is a good place. If I were reading these reviews to get a recommendation about the apartment complex I would look to see the discontent so many former residents have and compare that with the occassional recommendation that are written suspiciously in succession. My guess, since these messages can be posted anonymously, they are profitting from making a recommendation because they are employed by flagler pointe.

A safer place.... is that a joke? They don't do full backgrounds...only local. They let people rent apartments for other people. You can't get much shadier than that. Are you going to honestly read the above note and tell someone that a resident wrote that. HA!! " they just painted the shutters, and , and ... they have new gym equipment and the best part they are redoing the parking lot" WHO cares if the parking lot is redone when the condition of the apartments are smelly from mildew, they are roach invested and management doesn't care. THIS SITE IS CRAP. Do your research people... DO NOT BE A NIEVE RENTER.

If you read ALL of these, you will notice that the manager S.D. always makes run on sentences use ... between thoughts. She is also queen of the :) smiley face!!! And who else would make a point of mentioning the parking lot resurface!! Try keeping the grass alive and the bushes trimmed, the trash picked up, and the exterior of the building looking decent!! More importantly get rid of the ROACHES & TERMITES and make the damn place livable!!!! FLAGLER POINTE IS BY FAR THE MOST DISGUSTING PLACE I HAVE LIVED AND I HAVE LIVED IN SEVERAL APARTMENTS! And I've never delt with such liars before in my life!! Oh and one more thing about repaving the parking lot...they gave you 1 day, yes 1 day notice that you couldn't park there and if you left your car it would be towed at your expense!!! And the letter was dated Aug 14th and put on the apartment door Aug 27th!!! NICE!!!! So I hope you weren't out of town on business or vacation, because with the phony date on the paper, their butts would probably be covered! SHADY...SHADY...SHADY :(

My wife & I are contemplating moving in to Flagler Pointe. So far, my wife has had two walk throughs and the apartment is emaculate in her opinion. She also says that they are under new management at this time. I still have to do a walk through and believe me, If I see any of the filthyness and infestations that have been talked about, my wife & I will not be living there. As far as our $270 deposit, I will not argue to get it back. I'll let Channel 8 or 9 or 10 or 11 or 13 get it back for me. Shady businesses do not like having a public eye shined on them.
