I moved to Flagler Pointe Sept 06 from the Verandah's on the Northeast Side. I wanted to save some money and pay off a credit card so I can buy a house and Flagler is cheap! There is a reason for it....you definately get what you pay for. They are one of the only apartments that have a washer and dryer hook up and I think that's how I ended up here!! If I knew then what I know now, I would've scrapped the W/D! It started with a plumbing problem that took them 2 weeks to realize that their maintanence couldn't handle and they hired outside to fix the job, then it moved on to the A/C flooding my hallway religiously every two weeks! This went on for months before they finally resolved the problem. Then I had sparks shooting out of an electrical socket that I complained about for 10 days, with maintanence "never finding a problem" so instead of hiring an electrician they ignored it until my whole breaker box fried and all my power went out on a friday evening. They told me I'd have to wait until Monday to get it fixed...UNEXCEPTABLE!!!!! After getting extremely upset with management they agreed to have an Electrician come out on a Saturday and tried to make me feel guilty about them paying extra for that!!!! And last but not least is the ROACH INFESTATION that has been bad the entire time that I have lived here, but has gotten increasingly worse with the ------ months! And on top of that my neighbors have termites eating their furniture. My lease up at the end of this month and like an idiot I didn't give a written 60 days notice because I thought it might get better and I could deal with it to save some money, but the termites are the last straw and I'm getting out before my things get ruined!!! The management is horrible and rude, especially when they know they are wrong! Please save yourself the headache and don't live here!

I love it when I know who posts these comments and amazingly enough, you had the opportunity to give a 60 day notice and did not...must be because your sister moved out, your "unauthorized" boyfriend moved in whose aunt had a house available for you to move into and WOW imagine that..all of a sudden you have "roach infestation"...maybe it is due to all the dog poop outside your apartment...a dog by the way that you let out without a leash and calmly smoke cigs while watching him make giant piles right in your front yard inches away from your patio..nice that you could care less about your neighbors having to smell it...I must admit I think all parties involved will be happy for this lease to end...and in the end..who got paid? Folks forget...the manager nor any of the employees make up these rules and regs or the leases..lawyers do...and you people act like some big bad person sits behind a closed door and makes this stuff up as they go along....be happy you were offered a buy out...most places wouldn't or don't have to..remember if you want to play hard ball play it with someone you can keep up with:) Nothing personal.

wow, I am so glad I do not live there anymore. The place has just gotten even worse..I hated living there and had so many problems, the place should be shut down or better yet burnt down.. Glad to see others are being smart and leaving.. And I love how management posts things on here, I think its hilarious.. good luck with your move...

Wow,----- you are a real C---! And first things first...have I PAID YOU!?!?!?!? So I guess the person who got paid is not you! You show real maturity and professionalism by responding to these comments! I posted this on here so people don't make the same mistake I made by moving in here, and you post a response to have a cat fight with me! You're basically proving to anybody considering living here that the manager is a total BI---! The only thing you basically said was "HA HA I GOT YOUR MONEY!" Which only proves further that is all you care about!! And you definately didn't get my money!
I didn't give 60 days notice because I was hoping that you would fix the F'IN roach problem, but they are so horrible, that is IMPOSSIBLE! The whole property needs to be LEVELED! And the absolute last straw was the neighbors have termites! I'm not about to stay and have my 2 year old couch and chair destroyed by F'IN termites!! And I like how you tried to lie to me about them having termites!!
And as far as the dog poop goes, it does get picked up. Probably not every single minute she poops, but it does get cleaned up. And since when does poop in the yard = roaches in the kitchen!! And maybe if the property manager gave a sh-- what the rest of the property looked like,besides of the front lawn, then maybe I'd pick it up more often! There is so much trash thrown down, new mulch needs to be put down, the shrubs need trimmed and not to mention the guttering, trim etc!! Take a little pride yourself!!!
You are nothing but a slum lord and a professional liar, but I guess you have to lie to have your job! You lead people to believe they are moving into a decent place instead of telling them up front it is a sh-- hole that is going to have a problem at least once a week! I've seen you tell people on here that they couldn't handle your job, and as far as I'm concerned I wouldn't want your job! I couldn't live with myself knowing that I'm coning people into living in such a horrible place! I'M NOT A LIAR, and I'm pretty happy that my job is helping people!
And as far as my boyfriends "Aunt"...you don't have a ------- CLUE what you're talking about, where do you come up with this sh--!!??
And if you really wanna keep this up I will post a link where people can look at all the pictures I've taken in the last 3 weeks of the roaches that have been in my kitchen!
