DISGUSTING

I moved in 3 months ago and I am glad I am moving out tomorrow. Infestations include Roach, Ant, and Termite (in some buildings). The office staff is awful. They were less than helpful each time I went in. If you tell them you have termites for instance they say you probably don't but we will call and send them. NO I see the piles of dust under the molding from them. The people below me have dust falling from the cieling. The office also had a habit of losing paperwork. I turned in a signed letter stating we no longer had a pet in the apartment and they lost it. 3 months later I receive a final notice of rent due. . .put on my door late in the day with the money due at 9am and I had to be at work at 8. How am I supposed to find out what this bill is for, it was certinally not rent. I stupidly paid it before going into the office to find out what it was for. Turned out to be 3 months pet rent, although I had to figure it out from the billing record because the people there couldnt tell me. 3 months pet rent that we shouldnt have had to pay, not to mention they waited 3 months to bill it and send out a final notice or be evicted. When I told them they said I had to pay it and they wouldn't credit it. I had to find a copy of the note from 3 months earlier that they lost stating there was no pet and tell them I had a lawyer before they would credit the money. REDICULOUS.
They also made me pay in money order because someone who was on the lease before I was bounced a check. They had been off the lease for some time, yet the apartment still had to pay by money order. I was told when I complained that there was nothing that could be done and that there was no one else in the office that I could speak to about this.

The air conditioner didnt work despite being replaced both inside and outside. It was above 80 most afternoons with theh air conditioner running full blast. The electric would be $200 if I left it on. I also asked them to fix the leaky faucet in the bathtub and their reaction was you pay the water as a unit so it wont make a difference in your bill, why do you care. I said I do care and if everyone has a leaky faucet then it will make a difference so fix it. They eventually did, however they did nothing to fix the drain in the tub that has progressively gotten more clogged with draino doing nothing to help. It's not a shower its a bath.

The walls are also so thin. you hear everything from the people next door, below you and the street.

The apartments are old and they say renovated but I have yet to understand what they do to them. Mine was awful, absolutely disgusting and not totally functional.

They are also suspicious of everyone that lives there. They keep asking if I have someone not on the lease living in my apartment and I DO NOT. They also think our non exsistant dog is pooping on the grass even though we have explained about a million times there is no dog.

It's cheap and its for a good reason you get less than you pay for. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Flagler Pointe. It's not worth the hastle.
