I must say that I wish that disgruntled people with nothing better to do would stop trying to think of ways to make Inlet Bay sound worse than the next place. If your apinion was real, you woldn't be too scared to let people know who you are, so the manager can correct any problems you actually DO have. I agree that the Manager sucks....she is two faced and completely unethical and inconsistent. She can't keep a staff in the office for mare than ccouple of months. They had the assitant manager leave, and just behind her, every other office personel was out of there, that's 4 in 2 months. They have had two new assistants since the old one left in October, and they are always saying the reason they don't answer the phones is because they are short staffed in the office....sounds like a management problem to me. The company, United Dominion, is a good company, I just don't think they are keeping a close enough eye on the property, or the Manager to be more specific. The new garages suck, they take up all the parking, now I have to park 2-3 buildings away when I come home at 6:30pm. I have seen several happy, and un-happy residents move away. I walk my dog and speak with many other dog owners, most of whom like it, but have a few complaints, as anyone would have with any property. I have lived in three other properties on 4th street, and they have all had their good points, and bad points, they all pretty much measure up the same. The gates don't seem to work that great, but I have seen several times the reminants of some impatient resident trying to beat the gate, hit it with their car, and then complain. If everyone wans't in such a hurry, then the gates may actually work a little better...you think' I like the trash pick up at your door, but the dumpster is a disgusting raccoon, opossum haven...I'm sure it has plenty of rats, too. Someone should really re-thing the layout of it. People are too lazy to walk five extra feet to put their garbage inside the dumpster, thats right, INSIDE, not laying around so the un-lazy people can't get to the door without climbing ove everyone elses trash. PLEASE correct this.....The maintenance men are nice enough and always clean up when they are done, the grounds are kept pretty clean and the landscaping nice enough for sucha lot of land. I like the fountains that were installed last year, and the newly remodeled apartments that thay are giving the option of leasing for a reasonably higher rent. And those of you who are complaining about saftey...they never call the gates "security" I was even corrected when I called them that. The girl in the office told me that they are "controlled access", they can not keep anyone out, nor guarantee anyone's saftey, as no one can do that. I agree, even if the gates were closed 24 hours a day, people would still get in if they wanted to, the gates are more of a deterrent, put not a guarantee. Even if you have a house with gates, people can still get in. My lease is up soon, and I will happilly renew it for another year. Why pay the money to move when I will have just as many, if not more issues with the next place. And to those of you who have nothing beter to do...go pick up your trash, stop hitting the gate, buy a house if you want complete silence (which you still wno't get even then), move to a different place where you can continue to complain about your unhappy, useless life and the apartment and people there....trust me, I'm not the only one who WON'T be sorry to see you go!!!
