Broken AC From: stpetegirl Date posted: 3/27/2006 Years at this apartment: 2005 - 2006   My air conditioning was broken in the middle of the summer (May-July) for NINE WEEKS! Management provided wall unit ACs for the bedroom, but the kitchen and living room were uninhabitable for 9 weeks because temperatures were in the 90s. After giving us a few deductions on the rent, management promised they would give us more money back for our electricity bills ($250 for the wall units and maintenance had us running the AC- just in case). Management would not give us money back for our electricity, and said that the few hundred dollars they had already deducted from our rent was enough. It was beyond ridiculous. Management also does not return phone calls. Literally, I would call or stop in the office a dozen times, and would never get a response. Maintenance for small problems and pest control takes several days.
