Just for, you know, poops and grins, we stopped into Inlet Bay this past weekend as we are looking for a new place. No way in hell were we going to move back in but, just how much has rent increased since we left earlier THIS YEAR (Jan. 2006)'

We signed a lease in Jan. 2005 for the largest 2BR, 2BA. It was $972 less $100 a month for a special.

The current rent on our old place would be more than $1250!!!! Yep. An increase of almost $300 and THEY ARE RUNNING NO SPECIALS!

Inlet Bay is going to price itself into changing its name to Outlet Bay as people move out.

All of the problems outlined in many posts below are VERY VALID. Oh, yeah, when we were there, the golf carts are still being parked so the entrance is clogged and one of the leasing agents parks in the upclose space (you know, the one to the left for people going to the pool or perspective tenants).

Stay the hell away from this place as it probably will go condo.

Oh, one more thing: the gates were WIDE OPEN recently when I drove by at about 10pm on a Friday night. The gates on the 9th street side rarely worked when we were there; glad to see some things never change.

Um...did ya not read the original statement? They were out looking at places and were curious to see what Inlet Bay has now compared to a year ago. I think perhaps it is you, stpetebunny, who needs to get a life.

This Web page is extremely valuable to some. It provides an opportunity to let other renters know just exactly what it's like on the "inside" of a complex before they sign a lease. True, a lot of what is or could be written is exaggerated or flat-out false. But I think you could also argue that many people write legitimate posts and tell the truth. Have you made plans to get a life yet?

it is amazing that you folks actually THINK..or not...that rent should never increase...have you paid ANY attention to the papers??? Insurance alone is 75% higher this year...geez people!
