The apartments are spacious but I'm currently paying over $200/month more for my apartment at Inlet Bay than down the street for nearly the same square footage. The layout is kind of random and the fireplace is unnecessary but whatever. Everyone's front porch is always messy due raccoons ravaging exposed garbage bags when the pickup misses a day. The raccoons tend to poop all over the stairs and front porches and garbage winds up everywhere and almost never gets cleaned up by the maintenance crew. The appliances and cabinets are really nice looking in addition to the tile in the kitchen for a minimum of expense.
When our lease was nearly expired our rates were going to be jacked up another $300/month if we decided to renew so both my roommates and I decided to find another apartment complex. Shortly after we submitted our lease agreement termination papers the A/C went on the fritz. It was just an issue of it getting frozen up due to being clogged but according to my roommate it took them 10 days to come out, even though I called once and they were at the apartment 15 minutes later. There was also an issue with the maintenance crew when they decided that the sprinkler heads needed to be changed. They didn't call ahead and I work nights so the guy let himself into the apartment and came walking into my room when I was sleeping. He was lucky that I didn't have a gun. 3 days later at 5AM the fire alarm for my building went off and even though we called the emergency number, it took over an hour and a half for some one to come out and investigate. The 9th street gate also went months without operating properly, not that big of a deal but I thought it was worth mentioning.
Overall the experience wasn't horrible but it wasn't worth the money in my opinion.
