recently i have come into a roomate situation in this complex. the girl i now live with is a great roomate and a wonderful person, but i don't know what i was thinking when i moved in here. she has lived here for about 8 months or so and had a different roomate who moved out of here shortly before I came in. I have been here for going on my fourth month now and aside from having a great new friend out of the deal ( my roomate ) i couln't be more unhappy. i have found that what i am paying here my half of the rent and my half of the enormous electric bill monthly, i could have gotten myself my own one bedroom apt. someplace else. we keep our air set on 76 all day everyday and 75 everynight. we are barely ever home so there are no lights or other things left on... so why am i paying on average $105 a month for my half of electric' she said maintenance has serviced the a/c recently, and said it's fine. other then that i now see after the fact that my half of the rent in this 2 bedroom is more then i could have gotten a one bedroom for in some other places for just myself. my roomate isn't too happy either cause of the monthly cost we are putting out. we are thinking of breaking the lease and seeing if we can find a two bedroom elsewhere that has cheaper rent and maybe a more energy efficient a/c.

It would be a littler easier to take the high rent if the apartments were liveabel and the staff was even some what friendley. You would think that these places were wonderfull, kept up and new by the rent. For what we pay we could have much nicer and not have to deal with office staff.
