I have lived here for quite some time now, going on 7 years, and have no intention of leaving anytime soon. I have viewed this website a few times now and decided to post my opinion. I have no idea what people are complaining about. Electric is high everywhere. Easiest way to verify that is to contact the electric company. Not to mention our wonderful government keeps allowing them to increase their rates. Before you move, find out what the average electric is in other complexes by calling the power company. Don't take the word of the people in the office. Friends of mine near by have higher electric bills than me and were told a much lower rate from their office people. I've noticed on other complexes the comments about slow maintenance, broken gates, thin walls, bad landscaping, no parking, bug problems, raccoon problems, people leaving trash outside their front door, etc. I've also noticed that on this one people here don't make those kinds of comments. Gates do work, I don't hear my neighbors, grounds are great, no bug problems and the maintenance is fantastic. Go figure! Most of the comments are about the staff or manager. Seems like people are upset about getting in trouble for not following the rules. Yes, the manager is a little strict, but the complex doesn't look warn down, I don't hear my neighbors, loud radios, cars racing, etc. She might be the reason why. If all you have to complain about is how you don't like the manager and the electric is too high for you, then contact the power company and don't go into the office. I'd rather deal with that, than having to deal with the problems other people face at their complexes. As for the higher rent...I'd rather have neighbors who can afford the rent, instead of having the ghetto move in. Although my comment may not sway your decision, as stated in the beginning..."it's just my opinion".
