There is a mold issue in this apartment complex. I went to the manager with a mold report - she stated the report was phony without even looking at it and just out of nowhere became a mold expert stating that it's just dirt and dust- again, without even looking at the issue. The manager is in complete denial about the issue which is why I will be taking the issue a step further. Yes, the grounds are nice and the pool area is nice - other than that, the office staff has no personality besides being ------- and the place is way, way over priced. You can find a nicer complex with an office staff full of personality down the street. STAY AWAY FROM THE MOLD INFESTATION!

There are many communities within my immediate area I would recommend. On 4th St. I would look at Westport Colony, Inlet Bay, Camden Lakes, and Sienna Bay. They are beautiful communities with a reputable staff. On Gandy, I would look at both the Coves and Verandahs at Brighton Bay. Again, both are beautiful, up-scaled communities. However, I have heard mixed reviews regarding their staff. Also on Gandy you can check out Villas at Gateway. Also a beautiful community and I believe they are the newest addition to our area. They did go condo but converted back to leasing. I have personally delt with the staff there and can honestly state they are wonderful. There is also the Promenade and Echelon at the Reserve in the Carillon Pkwy area. However, I haven't had many good reviews from them. Please don't let that discourage you from checking them out. I firmly believe you should check out all options before making a decision. The comments listed are posted by residents and is only their opinion. Don't base your decision upon this website. Sure let them show you around-looks nice at first,but once you sign and pay it's all down hill. The mold factor is unreal,the pool is always gross,the hot tub is never hot and the mangement treats you like crap. When and if you meet -----------,ask him about the pool parties where he would be all over MUCH younger girls in front of his wife and kids.

Gee I just applied for an apartment for June at Isles of Gateway...I'm having my doubts now...maybe I had better look elsewhere, I haven't signed anything. Mold, duck removal, poor slow repairs, roving eyes, cold hot tubs and gross pools sound really bad. I do agree I'm noticing some patterns in the postings that suggest the companies are adding positives for themselves... On the other hand it didn't look bad on the first look. Thinking....maybe I'll apply at a few and see what's best closer to the time.

There is mold I have lived here for 10 months I have mold in my bedroom under the paint!! Theres huge roaches!!! I can't wait for my lease to be up my husband and I are out of this place!!
