I have lived in lincoln shores 2 years, when we first moved in to a 1 bedroom life was great, then when i was pregnant my new downstairs neighbor was complaining about noise, the complex sent people to look at our floors and it was determined that we had to move they were really wonderful about helping us with the move as I was 7 months pregnant. Then when my new baby was only 3 months old all hell broke loose. We can never get good parking and this is a serious problem when you have a baby and groceries and everything else to carry. The best part' Our new neighbors were young kids there were always at least 6-8 of them there they played their music CONSTANTLY!!! I complained to the office but they told me I had to call cis, then they said they had no record of any complaints!!! over a 2 month period i called the St. Pete police 5 times and cis at least 6 times. Finally one night they were putting popcorn out in the yard and hiding in the bushes my husband heard them shooting a pellet gun and we called cis AGAIN here these scum bags were luring animals into bushes with food then shooting them, yes we found a dead possum in the bushes. While the cis was waiting for the police these kids came down with a garbage bag and tryed to get the dead animal!!!! they ran when they saw us watching in the window. They finally got evicted but this is what I had to pay quite a bit of money to live next to. UNACCEPTABLE! there is one girl in the office I love, she always goes above and beyond to help and she is the only reason i'm still even going to finish my lease.

Unfortunately, the evcition process is not a quick one and we always empathize with any of residents who have to go through the process.
Even though we would love to be able to evict troublemaking residents immediatly, it is against Florida law.
Lincoln Shores is required to submit an entire case to the court for an evcition to be reviewed, which is why we ask that the police department or CIS be contacted every time.
We need the documentation before we can proceed to a judge and start the process.
I do admit that this should have been explained to this particular resident more clearly.
