When I first moved here 2 years ago, this was a really nice place to live. The neighbors were great, never made too much noise, and considerate. Now, it's a completely different place. It's really gone to hell. They lowered the rent considerabley, so the people that have moved in reflect that. All of the decent neighbors have moved out and rude, low-life people have taken their place. It's really sad because it is quite pretty here. I keep the broom in the living room so that I can constantly bang on the ceiling because the new neighbors are so loud. They slam their front door so hard that a big mirror I have hanging on the wall shakes and I fear that it will come crashing down. I call the "apartment police" on them constantly, but the upstairs neighbors are too dumb and inconsiderate to get the point and be quiet. And it may be great that pets are allowed here, but do you think that anyone picks up their dog's poo' Not a chance! If you go for a walk, there's dog poo everywhere you look. It's just gross. The rent is cheap, but keep in mind folks, so are the people renting here. You get what you pay for. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG

With so many people criticizing this place wouldn't it be nice if management would spend less time trying to recruit new residents and more time trying to retain the ones they already have??? I've lived here for years and I have watched this place deteriorate rapidly. Many other nearby apartment complexes have/are making a serious attempt to renovate and clean up their places, wouldn't it be nice if Lincoln Shores followed suit? The appliances in most of the units are older than the residents. The landscaping around the lake needs significant improvement. The speed bumps aren't speed bumps at all. They don't do anything to prevent all of these road ragers from speeding through here at ridiculous speeds. I'd highly recommend anyone considering Lincoln Shores look at the other nearby complexes. They may cost a bit more. But you are going to get what you paid for and have a home rather than a mess

Oh, about the awesome (yeah right) office staff here. I called the office the other day to request that they send my upstairs neighbor the "noisy neighbor" letter of complaint. The staff member sounded genuinely annoyed that I had called in the first place. She didn't say anything like, "Oh, I'm so sorry that you're unhappy," or "What can I do to make your living experience here better?" I had told her that I wouldn't be renewing my lease because I was fed up with the horrible neighbors among other things. I was disgusted when she replied in a very indifferent tone, "make sure you turn in your 30 day notice." Can you believe that?! There is absolutely no concern or care for tenant retention here!

all too true. Place is falling apart and the staff is just trying to fill it up. I wish my rent had been lowered! Maybe I wouldn't mind living in a pit so much then.
