The WORST Apartment Experience of My Life

The Promenade is the worst apt complex I have ever lived in...in my entire life. As a young professional, I figured that moving into an apartment complex that's located in a business park would be the perfect move....WRONG! Everything that you might have read from the previous negative reviews are very very true. Don't be fooled by the cute pink color of the stucco apartments of the Promenade. I don't even know where to begin with this review.
The CUSTOMER SERVICE is not service at all. The people in the office would make you think that they are leasing officers for free...They simply act as if they could care less about their tenants. Next, EVERYTHING pretty much falls apart a few days after you've been in the apt. As a matter of fact, the day that I moved in...they were still fixing stuff in here and still didn't get half of the things fixed! When I took my first shower, the knob fell off in my hand. I could tell you about the grime that was in the bottom of the tub but, I won't go there. I had an electrical outage (not due to the electic company but due to the non-maintenance of the apt) that lasted for several days..I was without an oven or any other electrical appliances. The maintenance/problem list was probably about 5 miles long after the 1st week of living here. Thirdly, if you want to feel secure..you may not want to stay here. My bldg went for three months without any type of lamppost or security light outside. It was completely dark and I was always terrified that some stranger or one of the many raccoons that live in the construction dumpster in one of the parking lots was going to jump out at me (no joke, the place is infested with raccoons). Fourth, I frequently receive notices on my door stating, "We will be entering your unit tomorrow because [for whatever reason]...sorry for the inconvenience.--Signed by Promenade Staff" I have also come home to find out that someone [from the staff] had been in my apartment to inspect something or another WITHOUT any prior notice or permission! Fifth, I had some personal items STOLEN from the front of my door before it was even dark...now that says something.
I could go on and on and on about the horrible quality of the Promenade but I'll tell you this...you will regret living here if you decide to move in...you'll never be able to call the PROMENADE home.
