I have now been here for 6 months and have been miserable the whole time. Perhaps a few years ago this was a nice place. However, it is now what I can best describe as trashy. Oh no, it may not appear that way when you first drive in or go into the office. However, I do not enjoy coming "home" to guys sitting on the steps smoking and staring at me like I'm bothering them by wanting to go up the steps to my apartment. With arms full, I stand and wait while they slowly get up, moaning and groaning. Then as I walk up the stairs, I must be careful because not all the steps are the same size and many are coated with stuff that leaked out of trashbags people leave outside their doors on a regular basis. When I complained about the slime and the trash, the office staff told me the walkways would be powerwashed (that was 4 months ago and it still hasn't happened)and basically that it's my responsibility to call the office and report trash each time! I'm sorry, but I already have a full-time job. I'm not about to take on their job as well.
The noise is terrible here, at least in my building. Radios blaring in the parking lot, bass pounding through the walls at all times of day and night, and parties on patios that are so loud it sounds like their on MY patio, even with earplugs. Why don't I complain to the office' I have...for 6 months!!! They keep telling me each time that the problem has been or is being resolved. Six months later, the same people are noisy and they call that resolution'!'
The one (probably only) positive thing I can say about this place is that the location is great.
Please read other recent posts before thinking about moving in here. It seems that the recent concensus is: This place is AWFUL.
