Amazingly I have to agree with all the reviews (except the roach story, ooh I would not be here if there were roachs), anyways, the price of rent is not just going up I feel like I am making a mortgage payment. I only live here because I am so close to work but even that sucks, with the price of gas I thought I could walk to work (straight across roosevelt and 28th) NOOO, don't dare cross this road (if you remember the atari game frogger, you will go splat) Not to mention I have 2 kids who I can't even let play in the breezeway because people let their dogs out without leashes. The staff here is okay quality, more concerned about the bulge in their pocket than the bulge in my ceiling. What's even worse is my husband has to fix everything in our place, no maintenance will show, my husband advised me not to even bother calling he would do it himself. The racoons have torn my screen twice now, and I have even heard of one lady who came home to find one eating and watching her tv (no joke) I can hear the people upstairs and just recently was able to wash my clothes on my laundry floor because they flooded it. People speed through here, no one in the office cares and I think the manager has a kid of her own, WOW she must have a special place for her child to play cause mine have hurt them selves 4 times on that horrible playground if thats what they still advertise it as. My kids have stopped asking to go and started to ask to go on a walk. The school bus stops here and everyday without a beat each bus has to honk because someone is running the stop sign, and now they block the entry way when picking up and dropping off because of disregard. My7 biggest complaint is the residents, pick up your own dog crap and then there will not be dog crap everywhere, slow down so the kids who do live here (there is alot to) can play outside, park in a parking space not in the grass or on the sides and tell your friends to go home at night so we don't have to walk a mile ( i get off work at 1:30 am very unsafe) and last the community pool is not for sex, used condoms, and urinating in the hot tub. You don't drink beer from a bottle when there is an obvious childrens party going on and since when did chlorinated water become a public ashtray. I have seen most people here in the year I have lived here and I think maybe one person has said hi, yes they are all very snobby and with the cars these people drive I pray you hit me one day when you speed through here going 45 so I can sue the heck out of you and with the money you make (statement by the car you drive) you are in the wrong place if you think any memeber of staff here will bring you your silver spoon. The last thing I will say is This place would be fine if the snobs would leave because then the staff might feel like there are normal people here instead of answering a call regarding a weather strip on their door has started peeling and nif they don't come fix it now they will sue equity. Go back to your exspensive apartments and let us decent people be.
