Im not really sure what exactly to tell you, this place is hit or miss. When we first moved in, they gave us a dirty apartment, and it wasnt even on the right floor they told us we were getting. The same day we moved into the correct apartment. Which Im glad, at first they were going to charge us more for the "view" but waved it due to the problem with the bad apartment/wrong floor apartment. (know that smell when someone didnt clean there freezer' like I said dirty)
The front entryway to our building had been rotting off for over 6 months, it was finaly fixxed, and it looks much better now. The grounds are honestly nothing to write home about. Luxury doesnt describe it. They will make it look nice, and then leave it...the mulch blows away, washes away, and many months later they will replace it.
The parking is absolutely terrible. 100% --------. They do nothing about people who dont have stickers to park there, and guest parking is not labeled very well. That and its about half a mile away from where people night be visiting.
They say they dont aloud aggressive breeds, at least once a month I see a pitbull puppy being walked around near my building, I even see other aggressive breeds being walked about. Other than that there are tons of very friendly dogs in the complex.
The air conditioning, its old, leaks, freezes up, and to be honest propably has mold in most of the units. I've talked with a few people in the comlex and they all agree the AC is terrible, and its like they have "bad air".
The layout of my apartment is good, however things leak, break, and the flooring comes up very easily. The carpet is cheap and will most likley wear on anyone the first couple months they are there.
In all honesty for what I have paid over the last year, its completely not worth it.
They tried to tell me my going rate for the apartment was 1340 a month, and that if I chose to stay they would let me pay about 1260, how generous is that when you call the office or look at there website and it is about 100 dollars less. Thanks but no thanks.
Truth in advertising would be nice.
For what you pay, by the end of the year you will probably want to kick yourself for not looking a little harder or maybe trying to haggle them for the price. There might be a few people who will say good things on here, and good for them honestly, but a majority of the people I talk to, are glad they are moving on too.
