When I first moved here, I wasn't impressed. The apartment seem to shrink over night! My furniture didn't fit, the building smelled funny- and the parking! But, I got a garage- painted my apartment, re-arranged my furniture and HOLY COW! Maybe I was in a bad mood when I first moved in.. because now.. I love my apartment. Have I had maintenance issues, yes.. It's a 15 or so year old building, with original equipment.. so it died.. but as soon as I told the staff, it was replaced or fixed. No big deal. Coolest part, I did get new kitchen and bathroom floors. It was a year after I had moved in- and I asked about the old flooring, the following week, maintance was out and installed new floors (this was after I signed my renewal). The location is great, there is a terrific walking path, the neighbors - are quiet.. the building is wood frame so you can hear others from time to time.. the raccoons.. yes, there are critters- as long as you don't feed them they stay away, mold, mildew, we are in a marshy area so you do have to clean your house a little more thorough and frequently.. other than that.. I love it here. The apartment layout is unique- more like a house than an apartment. It has a playground and beautiful pool area.
