It started badly. I got one price but when I moved in it was #100 more. I rented over the phone and specifically asked for lots of light and not near the entrance. I got a cave right next to the entrance with headlights coming in my windows from sun up to sun down. The office staff seemed quite friendly but that changed when I made complaints. Shannon, the manager, kept out of sight and let an ill tempered, assistant manager, Marti, run everything. Defensive and agressive would some up Marti's character. Parking was a nightmare with Guests, tenents, Future tenents, Papa Johns Pizza Trailer and the enormous gardening staff took up all 15 spaces shared between two buildings (12 units) and the same landscapping crew would be there all day several times a week making it noisy and dusty, never removing leaves, just blowing them into huge mounds and leaving them there. I had several sinus infections in the 7 months I lived there. The hot tub spa never worked and when I complained I was told no one else complained about it. Bull, I talked to several other tenents about this and they got the same treatment. The fountain at the pool is green with algee, the spinklers water everthing but the plants ... patios, cars, walkways and the lights in the walkways are always out at night. It smells like a sewer at night because of an extemely dirty pond near the mail boxes where a 5 foot alligator lives. The tenants feed him and he seems almost friendly (I did too). The place is filled with rats and bugs but this is florida and that's to be expected. But the don't seemed to have it under control. Ants and roaches are a real problem. The only good thing I can say was that the maintence staff was very prompt and efficient and they were quite aware of how mis managed this place was. The girls in the office take no personal interest in the property with their biggest decesion of the day is what the order for lunch.
