My husband, my daughter and I have lived at the Promenade for nearly 2 years. We are satisfied here for the most part, but hope to get into a house soon. There are several problems with the complex. Firstly, staff and maintenance workers are terrible! If you ever want to get anything done, you have to go directly to the property manager, Suzanne. And even then, it sometimes takes more than one call. Secondly, renters here let their dogs poop everywhere! A walk through any grassy area is like walking through a land mine field! Despite efforts by management to curb this problem, ie. asking tenants to report other tenants who don't pick up poop and a few poop receptacles placed throughout the property, it has not improved. Thirdly, management does a very poor job communicating with tenants. We frequently receive notices the day or after the fact of a scheduled repair... RARELY advanced notice. Finally, we are in the unfortunate position of being around during renovations. For two months our patio was unusable because it was being "painted and sealed." Now, I am no manual laborer, but my gut tells me that it should not take that long. Now they are resurfacing the parking lots. What a nightmare! There is not enough parking as it is, but now we may have to park across the street due to the closure of various lots through out a 10 day period. Can't wait to have a house!!
