My husband and I moved in about a year and a half ago and thought the place would be a good place to met friends and being close to his work it was a good choice. We have yet to see the same people after meeting them once and found that the apartment had a lot of issues when we moved in. I'll give them credit that they came and fixed everything with in a reasonable amount of time, but that doesn't fix the other issues outside the apartment.
Like most nights after eight o'clock I can't find a parking spot even remotely close to my door. Most of the time it's at the other end of the building or further. A lot of people park on the street and that causes a lot of issues trying to get past them.
The noise in the area is ok I rarely hear my neighbors, but the cars are a little loud when they come through. I'm positive we have a few thugs and street racers here around three am.
The lights outside our apartment don't always work and apparently no one comes around to check that they are. They water the grass that doesn't grow well here during or after it rains. Wasting our money that you KNOW you are paying for. The watering system has had several issues. I've seen one head completely come off and was just shooting a large stream of water in to the street. The sprinklers are not set well so they don't water the concrete or streets. There are a few other spots that I've seen overflowing the gardens and falling through the cracks of the retaining walls with large cascades of water then flowing in to the street. Lets just put this to rest and say their system is incredibly outdated and wistful.
The amount of time you have to give to sign a new contract or move is ridiculous. 60 days is a little to much to as of someone.
When you consider pets you can consider the first 200 dollars gone you will not get that back, but the monthly payments are $10 after word. They have a bad habit of not picking up the dog poop around here too. That should be included in the grounds work as well as expected of apartment tenants.
The nicest thing this apartment has is the access to the run/walking track that is about a half a block away and the fitness center that is never busy.

Overall the apartment is good. The staff is ok/pushy. The location is great! The raccoons are rampant. (we have a resident alligator by the mail room)

It's ok... Just don't look for anything special.
