Me and my boyfriend moved here about october of 2005. It was our Very first apartment Ever. So it was very affordable and the model looks Perfect. When we looked at the place We fell in love with the location. The managment was Great. But we tryed to see our apartment before we signed the lease but they pretty much told us we couldnt! And we needed to be in the apartment a.s.a.p cuz we had nowhere to go. So we moved in, and i took pictures of all the damage in the apartment ahead of time. lots of holes in the wall and burn holes in the carpet and kitchen and bathroom flooring. i showed them the pictures and gave them a list and nothing has ever been done with any of it. after 3 months i finally got a new kitchen floor cuz it was all burnt up and nails were sticking out where the carpet met the kitchen. and they were supposed to do the bathroom too, so i was upset when i came home from work and only mi kitchen was done. then i confronted them and they said "oh" (cluelessly) it will be another month or two too order the parts. and it has been about 5 months and STILL nothin. Ive callled and went up there many times to try to get it done and nobody has any idea whats goin on. They cleanded the carpets before we moved in, but our carpet is a light tan and is very old. After about a week we noticed the carpets looked very stained up. And i keep cleanin them and spots keep comin up in the very same places. Its very embarassing to invite family and friends over. And it is so funny to hear some of the other responses on this talkin about creaking cuz mi apartment does the same thing and its gettin very annoying. its a loud creak and it probably does it for about 2 minutes and will stop and prbabley does it about 5 times a day that im home. The construction workers are very rude and STUPID!! when they put in the windows they left mi door unlocked, i was at work. so they left mi apartment open the whole time i was at work. And when they remodeled the parking lot, one of mi neibohrs told me they moved her car to another part of the parking lot and left her windows open and got mud all in and on the outside of her car. And the car crimes around here are deff. bad. last week a 2 cd players got stolen out of mi boyfriends car. But the good points is yes deff the location and gym membership. and its not too pricey even tho ,the prices are going up when they finish remodeling. Oh yeah about the appliances, they r deff. old. Our dishwasher dosent even work half the time and the latch never will close and we juss gave up on even trying with them anymore. If those things changed i would love to renew mi lease and stay here, its very homey and quiet.
