We've been here for 8 months, and when we first moved in the place was wonderful. Then they took out around 50 parking spaces so they could install garages. Then, I know one person who has a garage, but it leaks when it rains. The office told him they're not responsible for water damage. His stuff is ruined and he has to air it out for days any time it rains. If you try to park at night, you have to park by the office. Car full of groceries' It's a long walk for you pal. They took out all the trash cans and put in a compactor on the far side of the complex. Now you have to walk or dirty up your car and take it completely across the complex. It gets full before garbage day, and the trash piles up all over the compactor. The sprinklers run for hours a night, and flood out the sidewalks. You can't walk on the grass, it's swamp, and you can't walk on the sidewalks because the sprinklers spray on them. We have no lawn service, they quit a few weeks ago because they sink into the swamp and can't cut properly. So the grass is out of control. They had an team come in and try to fix the drainage. They attached hoses to the storm drains, and made them pour onto the sidewalks. The sidewalks hold water for days, there's bugs everywhere because they breed in all the standing water. The foundation under my floor is broken, I can feel all the concrete shifting, and if I walk just right, I can cut my feet on the jagged concrete. The drywall behind my shower is rotted, my fiance fell and her foot went through the wall. Maintenance is in my home weekly, yet they rarely actually fix the problem. My screen door has been broken since I moved in, my porch is ready to rot off the hinges. My front door doesn't seal, and I've reported all of these things. The rent is shooting up, yet we just get worse and worse living conditions. We can't wait to get out of here. I took a ton of pictures, put them on a CD and mailed them to their corporate. I haven't heard anything since, but they call me asking me to renew. The gym is sub-standard equipment, no tv, mediocre lighting, no music, and the AC is on 65, it's always freezing in there, you can't work up a sweat without getting pneumonia. On their website, it says raquetball, they don't have it. There's no spa, even though they list it, the pool isn't heated, even though that's listed, and the tennis court is flooded every few nights from the sprinklers. There's so many things that I can't even remember most of them. We've had one break-in and a carjacking since we've been here. A carjacking at gunpoint! The police are always in the area because something happened and they're looking for someone. It gets old. I walk to the store every so often, and I always get stopped and questioned. It gets old. The cigarette smoke is out of control, I'm allergic to it and I have to air out the house when my neighbors smoke. It's a horrible living experience and the price isn't worth it. Please, look around, don't settle here.
