I have been renting for 2.5 yrs here...the place leaves a lot to be desired!

When we moved in we were told the apartment was rehabbed...it wasn't!

After many months of problems and repairs the apt FINALLY became somewhat usable and comfy...8)

have stayed here 6 months at a time with one unique one year lease due to the mgr miswriting the lease in their favor and not letting us know the changes...which they tried to do again but I caught it this time...8)

thought we would be able to wait until the houses in the area got more affordable...

looking desperately for rental home now and there is lots available so gave notice and moving one way or the other now...8)

the guy behind us plays his music LOUDLY in the evening when the we are trying to sleep...the police come and say they cant do anything about it and it is the managements problem...the management say they can't do anything about it even tho they make everyone sign a good neighbor policy that is supposed to stop this kind of behavior...we ALL agree to it!

the animals get killed around here often birds...cats...ducks...and nothing is done about it...8(

The garages leak water and have been told they would have them fixed...this was over a year ago...started right after they built them...8(

the garbage service has to paid for separately so that a pick up service can take the garbage to the dumpster...which still fills up and spills over frequently...in spite of the fact that the dumpster has now been converted to a compacter...8(

overall this apartment is NOT a community...has a high turnover in rentals...will not adjust your rent to the going rate and in fact threatens to raise it even after being her over 2.5 yrs...all in all it has been a nightmare unlike any other that I have experienced...and to top it off just try to get a responsible management person to do something about it...yeah right...and I have a fairy godmother too...8(

wow, that was a lot of stuff. As a renter you have certain rights....I read every lease I sign. Why did you renew your lease twice???? Why did you live there if you had to pay valet trash? Every apartment complex has high turnover...that's normal. Spend more money and move to a high end high rise with thick walls. Spend less money and get more problems...its just the way it is. you know I am usually not this long winded...BUT... the experience that my family had there was beyond belief... it started well and deteriorated badly over time... to the point that the water heater shorted out and was in the process of catching fire when we smelled it and called maint. they said if it had been shorted much longer it would have burned down the apt.... do you think that any leeway was given to compensate for their problem...I had my 3 yr old with us at the time...8( no help...no apologies for lousy maint...no attempt to make things right...Oh Well!...lesson learned... if a person is smart they will just STAY AWAY from this apt complex... to date they have been nothing but trouble and didn't even get my deposit back...8( Thanks for inquiring...Good Luck!
