I just want anyone who is about to rent from this apartment complex to please realize what you are about to get yourself into. PLEASE read the following. I am hoping that it will help you in choosing a suitable apartment for yourself an your family.

My husband and I moved in here in April 2004. The management is nice, AT FIRST. Once you sign your life away to them, that is it. Niceness fades and the rudeness begins.

If you like throwing away your money, being charged $300 per pet that is non refundable, not getting your security deposit back, and paying outrageous amounts in rent, than this is the PERFECT place for you.

Maintenance is horrible. It takes them forever to do anything around here. It took from April to February of this year for anything on my move-in list to get done. The only reason I got ANYTHING done is because I threatened to get 8-on-your-side and lawyers involved. I needed my carpet changed because it was about 10 years old and old pet stains were starting to come back up through the carpet. Outside I have a pole that is in my yard that is holding up the deck above me and the bolts are loose...they will not come and fix it!

I am also pregnant and I am scared to bring my son into this environment. I have been robbed twice and came home to two attempted robberies. I am scared to be here by myself because of my husband being in the military. I am a small female and I will not go outside, not even on my back deck, once the sun starts to set. It really is that bad here. I have had neighbors come and yell at me for telling their kids not to push each other into my fence, and had people go up the steps next to my apartment to look into my back deck, and I have also had huge bricks thrown into my yard at my small dog (which is only 13 lbs, full grown). There is NO respect for anyoneęs personal things here.

I had 2 dogs here and I had to pay $600 just in pet fees. The large dog, I only had for less than 2 weeks and he broke my foot. I had to give him to my sister and I hated it. Even though I only had him for that short amount of time and had to give him up right after cause I couldnęt take care of him with a broken foot, they STILL wouldnęt give me the deposit back. They told me ęoh wellę and hung up on me.

* * * I would look around more (above central ave) before you make a HUGE leap in renting here. About 93% of people living here are black and crack heads. You have to pay for rent, water, electric, pet fees, trash pick-up (even if you donęt use it), etc! Beware and please, make this your last apartment on your list. I will be leaving this place in June 2005 when my husband is transferred. * * *

The connotation that your area is a bad area because 93% (highly unlikely) of the residents in your complex area are black AND crack heads is extremely offensive. I am a south Saint Petersburg resident and I find the area to racial diverse and beautiful in most aspects. May GOD bless and open your mind.

I see why u had things thrown at your wimpy dog. You are a bigot ant deserve to be treated with such disrespect. Move to where you people are and I am sure chrystal meth will be your new horror.

I totally agree. I went to the leasing office and experienced the HORRIBLE service there.
A lady named GRACIE( REMEMBER NEVER GO TO HER) answered a phone call complained about a dog go to the resident's patio, she pretended to aske the resident's apartment number, and said "let's see what i can do for you ", but actually what i saw was she didn't write down the number at all. What she can do is HUNG UP AND FORGET IT!
And i also saw a woman came in to complained about the laundry room is unlocked, DEAR GRACIE said" i have no idea". What service they are offering ?NONE!NONE!
