NO CLASS GHETTO

This IS the ghetto. I came from the north and my neighborhood was very ethnically diverse. It was still safe, so when i saw a lot of black people in the neighborhood this did not stop me from renting here. I was wrong. It's not so much a racial issue as an issue of class. this isnt even low-class, its no class. What's worse is that most of the black people in the area hate whites and they dont want to there neighborhood to be mixed. These people are ignorant and uneducated; and it really makes me sad that the state of Florida has failed so many of its citizens. THE main point is that unless youre a ghetto gang banger lookin for some drugs or to steal a car-STAY AWAY.

ALSO the managment is even more low class than the residents. The office is nice and they kiss your ass when you first come in, but once you sign the lease-that's it!Also my husband and i noticed that the split the community up by race. the units by the office are filled with white and the other side(where the more run-down units are) is black.

Ghetto? I can already see that the St. Pete area residents have no clue what a true Ghetto is!! I am a Stetson Law student who has moved from Missouri. If you want to see a true Ghetto, travel north on Delmar Street in St. Louis, or better yet, jump the river to East St. Louis. This is where people get killed all the time for being of wrong color. I have absolutely nothing wrong with black individuals or any for that matter, and Lake Pointe has a MIX. Sure, some may be so called wanna be gangsters, but who cares, stay away from them and call the cops. Sooner or later they will be weeded out. Again, I challenge all those who think 100-300K homes in this area is a Ghetto, go to St. Louis and be informed!!!

I'm from D.C.. I have never seen security gaurds at the dollar store or at a grocery store. Yes there are place on this earth that are more ghetto; nonetheless this place is ghetto. Don't be fooled by the pretty trees. This is a nasty place to live. As far as 100-300k homes-they are getting ripped off. It's close to the beach, so people will pay for that. Like I said, I'm from D.C., and I was never scared of black people until I moved here. Sorry, but that is the truth! I got a lot of crap for being white in this neighborhood. Black people are more racist than white. I feel sorry for the single mothers (black or white) that are forced to live in these conditions.
