Look Beyond The Phony Surface....FACADE

So, you decorate the office and landscape...nice try. Are you going for the 'professional' look' Well, just open the first door, and you see otherwise...very rude leasing agents, huffy internal workers, and a manager that wants to be kept away from residents.

Second door (entry to apartments)...left filthy. Trash cans, boxes, debris...not cleaned as told (Once a month' Ha! Starting when''').

Real living areas are getting worse by the day. Residents are trashing the place, and MANAGEMENT IS LETTING IT HAPPEN. The term 'ghetto' is spreading because the filth is...just look at most of the balconies and lanais. Management should WORK to make the entire property look like the facade they present.

Oh, the brochures and recordings are impressive. But, if you don't really provide all you offer, it is nothing short of FALSE ADVERTISING. In print..."Luxury waterfront living," "Unparalleled amenities," Two Relaxing Saunas," "Access controlled Community," "Barnie's Coffee & Tea," & "Ultimate Comfort."

Reality..."Unkept Lakes & Canal filled with debris & untreated algae," "Amenities...Filthy Laundry Rooms, Broken Pool Furniture, & No Clubhouse Available for Residents," "NO WORKING SAUNA FOR OVER A YEAR," "Guards who are absent, or absent minded...let anyone in; FREQUENT VEHICLE THEFT & VANDALISM," "Old, cold coffee, NO tea, can hardly ever even find a cup, ants crawling all around 'coffee bar'; MISLEADING," and "Only minimal comfort."

Another drawback...REQUIRED Valet Trash Service. You have to pay $15.00 per month for someone to carry your trash from your door, even if you take your own trash to the dumpster. This should be optional, but of course, it's a big money maker for the higher-ups. It just contributes to trash in the entry ways, with the added smells, germs, and nasty appearance for guests when residents refuse to take their cans in as required (but not enforced).

Credit where it's due....Cordial Maintenance Staff who go above and beyond to make you happy. Hmmm....maybe if the maintenance men ran the office, things would get done!

And yes, apartments were renovated...painted cabinets & countertops, ceramic tile, and raised kitchen ceilings.

The Reserve at Lake Pointe has excellent potential that is just dwindling away. Anyone who has lived here for even two or more years will tell you how much it's gone downhill. It's not too late to save it, IF the management would put forth the effort! IF THEY DON'T CORRECT THESE ISSUES, I'LL BE LEAVING WHEN MY LEASE ENDS, ALONG WITH SO MANY OTHERS. You would think they would want to keep the residents, rather than have such a turn over, but they think nothing of replacing you with another warm body to pay the rent. Afterall, that's all they are there for.

And just for the record...No, I am not just a resident who is mad, has late payments, evicted, etc. I AM A RESIDENT WHO WANTS TO LIVE IN A NICE, CLEAN PROPERTY, THAT IS REALLY WHAT IT'S ADVERTISED TO BE.
