Those whow are dealing with the issues of bugs and roaches, do you know that those pesty little creatures like cluter and uncleanliness. I have never had an issue with bugs or roaches; and if I've seen one I would call the office and pest control would be out. I have to agree on the security issue. There is lots of room for improvement on that issue. Patrol the property to insure the safety of tenants, their apartments, their visitors and their cars as well. There are cars being broken into, there was once a rapist targeting teenage boys, apartments being broken into. I would say for the price we are paying for rent, security shouldn't be an issue. I would like to see the premisses patrolled on a frequent basis throughout the day and night. Another things that is aggrevating is getting in the front gate when there is a line of cars ahead of you that are visitors. You have to sit in line while security gets their information and plate number and not all the time do they do that. What would help if we had an access gate for tenants and one for visitors and maybe security can do more patrolling for our personal safety and belongings here. Agree....'

Ok you complain about the line at the front gates and yet you complain about security as well. That is ridiculous, you should be happy they are even checking people who are coming into the property that don't live there. My god, and the whole rapist thing and break-ins that can happen anywhere you live. It actually happens more commonly in the high end communities because those are the people with the big money. Bottom line if you don't like the issues that come up when living in an apartment complex why don't you go buy a house and deal with all that crap yourself!!!

I have lived here for over 5 years and like it, but I have some problems as I'm sure any renter might. As for your ignorant rantings! Yes it is a pain that residents have to wait in line, sometimes backed up on both sides of 54th into the road during prime times. Normally it isn't a big deal but I see their point. As for "the whole rapist thing" I am a woman I have a BIG ISSUE with rapists, ESPECIALLY CHILD MOLESTORS. We should have had security up the ass during this time! How many young boys suffered because of people with your nonchalant attitude?! Yes crimes can occur wherever you live, but we all need to be proactive in preventing them. First of all security is a BIG issue. We had a group of CSI about a year ago who patrolled on bikes every hour. They were annoying at times, but they did their job. Then one day they were gone and the guard booth was vacant EVERY evening for a month or so, so ANYONE could wander through. This happened a few times during security staff changings. My car WAS broken into recently only an hour after coming into the house (my husband smokes outside so I know the exact time it happened) these things happen, but security is lax lately. I find the guards patrolling are more concerned with the residents standing in front of THEIR building chatting (loitering!) than illegal activity going on. Although three townhouses are empty where I live and the other residents are the ones outside talking, I find it hard to believe that we are seriously disturbing the peace, or that there isn't something more pressing for the guards to attend to. I had a concern one evening that a black car with a U-Haul attatched was backed into a space on an curved driving area with a blind spot. The car was sticking half way into the roadway. I almost hit him and was lucky no one else was coming towards me, when I alerted the guard at the booth of the potential problem I was told it wasn't his responsibility and that I could knock on his door. Another issue is the new gate they put up for outgoing traffic that has broken 3 or 4 times already. How much did this cost since the budget is limited? Check the amenities offered on their website, #1 Tennis court- the tennis courts have been out of commission for about 2 years now. When contacted about them I was told the "budget" was not in yet so they won't know until they have the new budget, estimated time frame? "We don't know". Has ANYONE here EVER usued the saunas? I know where they are! They're locked by the 2nd pool. I was told security has the key and they will open it up when you ask. I asked when I moved in, they said they don't have a key and I'm still not sure what the deal is there (didn't follow through). No place is perfect and overall I like where I live or I would've moved 4 years ago. I have had some issues, but for the most part they have been handled efficiently and if not they'll hear from me about it to get the problem resolved. So far so good!
