I have a hold on an apartment at The Reserve and i was wondering if any current residents could tell me if they like it there, how the security is, safety in general, management, as well as any other things of importance. Thank you

I used to be a Resident at The Reserve. I thought they were great. Obviously you will see other comments on there that may not sound so great I can guarantee you 99% of those people had other issues and were probably evicted anyhow. But I enjoyed living at the Reserve and if I did not relocate I would of still been there or at least until I purchased a house. SO I would defiantly move in if I were you. Great people very nice property. Another great thing to is the location. You have access to a lot of things right in that area. I hope you move in.

I would advise against moving there unless it's for location convenience (such as driving across the skyway bridge regularly). I encourage you to review crime stats in that area in previous years and specifically in the complex. I think it might surprise you how much activity goes on in there. It is a very large complex so that might contribute to why there is crime activity in there regularly. I lived there for 3 years while I was in college. I never felt unsafe there per say, but would advise you to look elsewhere first. I think paying a little bit more at a nicer place might be your best bet....especially if you have children.

I love the apartment. I love the amenities. However the actual office staff leaves MUCH to be desired. My husband and I moved in December of 2006, and upon our FIRST inspection of the home discovered that the bathtub was chipped and peeling. We wrote it up in our review of the apartment and have yet to see a conclusion. This being despite several calls, which always ended with whomever we were speaking to, assuring us that they would handle it immediately. We are currently, dealing with an issue of a bee hive that has formed above the entrance to the apartment building we live in now. Since my husband is allergic to bee stings, and carries an epi-pen to prevent anaphalaxic shock, this is a bit of a problem. We have been calling the staff for two months to have someone take care of the problem. My husband has spent the last week going directly to the office after work, to find out the progress of the situation. Still nothing. The office staff is quite accomplished at mouthing platitudes, and assuring action, without actually doing anything. If you have nothing wrong with your apartment, and need nothing dealt with in a timely fashion, this is a wonderful place to live. Aside from the two issues discussed here, we have fully enjoyed our time here, and pending resolution of the bee situation, we will remain here until we purchase our own home.
