I have lived at West Port for about 6 months but I WILL NOT be renewing my lease. The apartments are moist and smell. I moved into stained carpet and even after complaining they would not change the carpet, it was disgusting. The window leaked badly when it rained heavily and there are ants and roaches everywhere. This place is very expensive for what you get and god forbid you are a day late with rent because they do not offer direct debit. You pay a $75 late charge and they will not take your personal check...only money orders or cashiers checks if you are late by even a day. The only benifit is they have a great maintenance staff who are always courteous and friendly. The complex looks beautiful from the outside but inside the appliances are 20 years old and even rusted!!!

The other issue is some residences leave their trash in the hallways which get scattered by rats and raccoons. I complained to the office 4 times and even sent pictures and a letter to their corporate offices only to be told that trash is the residence's responsibility. Essentially they could careless how awful your living conditions are as long as you pay rent.
DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!!
