I lived there for a year and couldn't wait to get out! Sure the outside is gorgeous..very attractive. I spent an ENTIRE summer with NO Air Conditioning...the best excuse that maintenance could come up with was that the weather was not hot enough for the AC to be working at its full potential!! You can not tell me that it is not hot enough in the middle of summer in St. Petersburg Florida. On top of that they never were willing to come in and fix anything. We had a horrible leak in our master bathroom..it got so bad that the ceiling was actually falling down, and they did not fix it for about 2 months. You will regret moving in to Westport within a month or two of living there, I promise.

Okay anonymous, i will match ya. i live here now. I hate it. I know that there is mold and rot. I know that if you complain they bleach the spot you can see and apply paint. I know that there are ALWAYS vacacies and for whatever reason certain apartments are empty for a long time. When you try to talk to the office about the trash and look of the property they tell you that you should email or call them 'anytime'. Well whose job is it to 'maintain' the property. Why should a 'customer' as the Gables site refers to us, have to do the job of the managment. If they were on the property more often they might see. In addition, people from the hud apartments use the pool every night. We get told to call the cops. One day someone is going to drown in that pool and then our rent will go up when they have to pay a liable suit because there are not locks or any security whatsoever!!! Securtiy??? A Tampa Cop who parks his car while he sleeps in his apartment...does anyone know what this guy looks like?

Ok anonymous... I beg to differ. That post was not because of any bitterness over a deposit not returned, because I did receive my deposit. We DID go without a/c and with a leak in the ceiling and who are you to claim that we didn't? I have a life and would not have logged on to this site unless I wanted people to be aware of the poor maintenance in those apartments. The place is expensive, and when you pay too much to live there, obviously you expect to have your problems fixed within reasonable amounts of time.

I should of read this before moving in here Kateelizp. I so regret moving in here, I've been here for about two months and I never thought this would be this bad. I lived in other apartments before but this is just ridiculous in here. Bad management. Poor customer service. I will be moving without a doubt within a month. It is upsetting having to do the whole moving thing all over again in only two months. I cannot stand the fact that they give misleading information to get people sign in.
