I've lived here for about 3 years with my family. When I first moved into this apartment complex, I loved it. It was very peaceful, the grounds were clean, the complex had plenty of parking, had a wonderful atmosphere with the lakes and the egrets, and was very family oriented. Now I feel like I am living in party central, in a cross between a frat house and a college dorm. Many of the new tenants are very young, appearing as though they have just moved away from their parents, and many are doubling up with 4 people in a 2 bedroom. Parking has become a major issue with so many tenants per unit. Trash also has been a nightmare. The maintenance crew tries to keep the compactor area cleaned up and this works pretty well during the week when all the workers are here, but on the weekends the tenants frequently just leave their trash bags on the ground by the compactor door and won't put it inside for whatever reason. I have seen it stacked up chest high on the weekends, creating a major problem with hungry rats and raccoons. We have had a number of cars stolen recently. For this reason, I have recently had lojack installed on my car. One of the St. Petersburg police officers who was recently called out suggested that we buy a club for our cars. And don't expect anything to change for the better. These changes I'm speaking of have happened since we have had newer management here. Oh, and by the way, the security officer is a cop who works nights in Tampa and is rarely around when you need him. So to sum it up, if you are looking for a place to party down or you're a --- guy looking for a boyfriend, you're in luck here. This is the place you want to be. But if you are a family or you are over 30 and just want a nice place to live, this is not for you.
