In review of 6/20/05 somebody tried to negate bad reviews of this apartment complex - implying that authors of bad reviews were thrown out!!! By the way I wrote the very first review called "A nightmare" and am still one of the best tenants in this apartment complex ( not by choice but by need). IT IS A NIGHTMARE TO LIVE IN THIS CHEAP HOLE! Crime, people of shady occupation/behaviors, constant noise, general uncleanliness, rude and inconsiderate neightbors... and as I'm writing this my neighbors are at each other throats - right now! But it is a regular thing, and if you decide to live here - get used to it.

I am a brand new tenant, haven't even been here a week yet. Luckily I haven't dealt with any of that yet. The building I'm in seems pretty quiet. I was told that management does not put up with alot of mess. Maybe you should see about moving to a different building. Then it could be that I just haven't been here long enough to see any of that yet.

Hello? Are you aware you live in St. Petersburg? What do you expect?

being that you live in Saint Petersburg, does not make it okay that people act a fool. I have a friend of the family that lives there and I am personally afraid to walk to my own car when visiting them. There have been several instances of a younger crowd sitting on the picnic tables smoking marijuana. Nothing is ever done. St. Petersburg is an excellent place to live. Stop making it seem like that is standard for the area.

I've been living here for 6 months now, and I haven't had any major problems. As for crime; it exists everywhere you go-and let's be honest there are worse areas in Pinellas County as well as the neighboring counties. But it doesn't matter where you live - unless you live in complete isolation; there is always the possibility that you could be a victim of a crime. Some people make assumptions because they see a group of teenagers together, well I feel just as uneasy seeing a clean cut man, or well-dressed woman for that matter. You never know what someone, anyone, is capable of. I am a parent of two, both under the age of 6, and I don't care where I am - I'm always cautious - when I'm alone and even more so, when I have my children with me. It's a sad reality of the world that we live in.

To Anonymous 12/31/07 Since this was a recent post, and you seem to be a normal and rational, could you help me? I am 55 and movin from Maine to the Tampa Bay area soon. I have a section 8 voucher here because I'm disabled. In Maine, low income housing apartments are relatively clean and safe; so naturally, I have reservations about what I'm going to be able to find in the Tampa Bay area using my voucher. If you could give me an honest review of what I might expect. Wyngate was recommended to me by a nearby complex that didn't accept section 8. My email address is: mslilrose@yahoo.com
