My exposure to Harbour Island Club began even before I lived there. My wife lived there before we married so I had the opportunity to be on the ground a lot. Once married we moved to a bigger unit there. The management was always corteous. The grounds, including the pool area, were always clean and well kept. The complex withstood Hurricane Wilma and any damage was repaired pretty quick. Rent was decent. Overall a good experience.

This reviewis not entirely correct. The damage from hurricane Wilma took more than 6 months to repair. Also, the office staff may try to be polite, but they are completely unhelpful. Also, the grounds are not well kept; the pool turns green for months at a time and the recycling is never emptied.
