I have lived at The Lakes at Welleby for almost 2 years and I am about to leave. The staff is horribly rude, maintenance is non-existent. We had no a/c for 5 days in July because it was not an "emergency." Hurricane debris is still all over the place 2 months later; there are piles and piles of roof tiles, trees, and debris everywhere. They cut our grass (when they decide to cut it) with a weed wacker so it looks atrocious. Everything moves at a snail's pace - it takes 3-5 business days for most requests or even to just get an a/c filter. We were basically conned into renting by a good salesman & didn't do our homework first. Don't make the same mistake we did.
