before i start, let me say that some or most of the comments that have been made aboout the Palms at sawgrass mills are shocking to say the least. I have lived and still live at the palms and #1 find the office staff very upbeat, happy, friendly and always throwing some type of party for us and are always willing to resolve any issue i've had.

#2 the landscaping is very, very pretty and even before the buildings were painted they really were not that bad.

#3 i have lived here since jan 2001 and the pool or pools have never been broken. and the spa/jaquzi yes has had problems but it always gets fixed but people need to reliaze rome was not built in a day and i like many other professional people work in a corporate world and we all know there is a chain of people you go through to get one thing done. and if people would respect the services that are provided to us things would stay in working order longer.

#4 the trash, what can i say but people that live here with children PLEASE stop letting them take out the trash, that would help and teach the children to be respectful of others.

#5 the apartments are very nice and spacious,
the masterbath has a huge oversized roman tub.the laundry room with fullsized washer and dryer, most apartment communities only have the small stackable sets. my patio is screened so the bugs can't get in, i believe all the patios are screened.

i recently just renewed my lease and the office negotiated putting ceramic tile and crown molding in my apartment for only $50.00 extra a month! how greaat is that.

so i personally feel that some of you people that are making such negative comments have never lived in apartments before or your just very rude and difficult people and negativeity will follow you where ever you go.

and for the person that stated that the office staff was rude you are probably talking about the old manager, she is nolonger at the palms and yes she was rude, but good things happen to those who wait.

I am also a resident here and I don't know where you live but, you are full of crap. I have lived here for five years. I am one of the first residents to move here. I can not agree with what you say, because no of it is true. Parking is poor, new management should take some lessons on how to maintain a property. Maintence is a joke, and as far as safety, what a joke. Broken gates most of the time, they should change it to partialy gated community. This place has went from a nice place to live to an overpriced slum, with poor management. And for your comment about past management, they were alot more pleasant than the new ones, who are young and ill experienced in maintaining an upscale residence.
