I lived at the Palms for two years. After the first year, I left my beautiful one bedroom apartment for a two bedroom version. Huge mistake. The carpeting was BURNED and stained, the countertops were peeling, none of the electrical outlets worked in the kitchen, and worst of all, it was infested with FIRE ANTS. Not just annoying little sugar ants, but bleeping FIRE ANTS. I begged the management to help rectify the ant situation, but they asserted that the infestation was due to the rainy weather and thus was not their responsibility to correct; and they refused to replace the carpert, countertops and outlets because the damage was merely "normal wear and tear." (You can be sure, however, that the previous occupant sacrificed his entire security deposit for the damage.) I agree with all the other opinions on this site: the management staff are rude and unprofessional. The parking is horrendous. And it should be noted that this community participates in federal housing programs, so you'll be living with some pretty undesirable neighbors who have ten kids and no job and pay about $100 a month for the very same ant infested apartment you're paying $1,000 for. And if you do decide to live there, Give Carolyn in the leasing office a big F-you from me! SEk1KnECheF1ATXbXtrZ
