While I'd agree that the apartments are generous. They have several shortfalls. First of all there is a complete lack of any type of landscaping, ensuring your balcony view is a parking lot. All the windows are single pane and old, meaning your apartment will heat up like madness if you don't keep the AC on all the time. We lived there for almost two years and had a recurring water problem (a fault in the exterior wall) and an ant problem in the building. Maintenece is quick to address the problems, but usually they only fix it, not solve it (Re: it will come back). The lake is a stormwater retention pond, and the gym is filled with circa 1970's equipment. Our stove had a broken knob, meaning that if your weren't careful you could be baking at 450 instead of your planned 250, which is ok if you like smoke and burnt food. Lastly, watch out for the rental manager. She seems genuine and nice but when it come down to it she is all business. Make sure you get anything from her in writing as when it comes down to it she'll deny everything you can't prove.

On the upside the places are a great value if you can get over the ghetto-esqe exterior, especially when compared to other apartment complexes less than a mile away.
