I have lived here for 7 mths and can't wait till my lease is up so I can move. The old manager left who was rude and nasty all the time and now we have another ----- in the office. Actually she was the assisant manager before and for whatever reason she is back as the manager. She doesn't even know her ass for a hole in the wall and you can see she has never managed people before. The place is a dump and you can see that nobody wants to live here because you see so many empty apartments. If you want the advise of someone already living here don't do it. You do in fact get what you pay for as the other comments stated.

wtf im deff not moving here that was so unprofessional of the office manager, you're acting like a child. You just completely turned me and my roomate off from this apartment. my money will not go to you.

You???re absolutely right, it was completely unprofessional of me to even reply like that, and I do apologize. As you might imagine it can be very disheartening to hear negative things said about yourself especially when they are undeserved. Summerfield is like any other community which has its share of problems, but I and my staff have been working very hard to overcome these issues. And our work does speak for itself, we have been making major changes and improvements to the way things are handled here and many of my residents who were going to move out because of previous management have decided to stay and renew in direct response to the changes that have been made. If you were to speak with any of my current residents you would see that we are a management team who cares, which is not easy to come by in today's world. I myself have lived in several different places throughout my life and I am proud to say that I manage this place with my residents best intentions in mind and we go out of our way to make sure that each and every one of the residents who call this place home are happy and satisfied, that there complaints are taken seriously and handled immediately and that there made to feel and know that they are a part of a community and not just a nameless, faceless, person who just pays rent here. You can choose to live in many places in Sunrise, Tamarac, and Lauderhill, even Plantation, and you pay about the same for rent and get the same amenities, live in an similar looking apartment in a similar community, however, you would not get a staff that cares and treats you like a human being, who cares about you and your family, and who goes out of their way to bring a high level of customer satisfaction to everything they do. I am sorry that you guys decided not to move here, and I am sorry that I gave such a bad impression, but I assure where you???re living now in no way compares to Summerfield Apartments. I met Jen yesterday, the (the manager) after stopping in to see if she had any 1 bedroom apartments for rent. None were available, which means to me something is going right . She has managed to rent them all. She was very kind and gave me another complex to try . I did and found something suitable. I then spoke to her later, as she called me to see if I was able to find something. I can tell you my experience with her went well. To see her being attacked on here is really unfair. I believe her when she says she is turning the community around by showing genuine concern. Jen , you cant please everyone. You went above the call of duty for me and I appreciate it. Good luck in your duties.
