Bottom Line: I have made a official complaint.

1. The parking lot street lights is the ultimate major complaint we all have. What makes things harder is, we do not have a friendly property manager that would adhere and take into consideration our complaints. Instead, he/she gets hot and bothered and find every excuse to give in order not to recognize the problem.
a. We understand the street lights are on a time. ( an excuse that was given). However, if they are on a time, it is safe to assume that they should all be on. In this case, some or on, some or not. Building 5 and 7 are pitch dark in the late afternoon and earlybird morning. Meaning, the light bulb either needs to be changed because they are not working, or not bright enough. What is the issue with this' Is it that difficult to change a lightbulb and give us safe parkinglots when needed' Are we waiting until something bad happens to take this issue into account'

2. Open Meter rooms.
a. The meter rooms are suppose to be locked and safe. There are meter rooms that have the lock busted and are open to the public. This is an issue that needs to be addressed. I am sure the community can be citated somehow. If things are not fixed, this will be
the next step. Also, having that door busted open gives leeway to anyone to hide in there and cause danger to your residents. As there are residential doors that are side by side these meter rooms. All we need, is for a delinquent to hide in the meter room and break into a home or hurt someone. Is this what we are waiting for'

In response to your post, I have been living in a wonderful community which has been nothing but pleasant and well worth the price I pay for it. So no... you don't always "have to put up with stupid things here and there." Remember that ;)

You just haven't lived here long enough yet. You'll see...

s2pdog2 is right...the place looks great...at the front! Once you actually move in you'll see it might as well be project housing. My car was stolen from right in front of my apartment which probably would have been deterred if the gates worked. The roaches and ants moved me right on out. I love the city of Sunrise and there are other places that are much nicer...try renting from condo conversion home owners..the upkeep is better cause someone personally owns it, and the rent is pretty consistent year after year.
