Me & my husband moved in here in mid-june from MD. The apartment seemed okay first with a new carpet & a new stove. But when we had to fill out the move in/move out checklist we found MANY faults like the master bedroom door looked punched in & patched up really ugly, there was dust accumulated on the inside of the closet doors, kitchen linoleum is scratched & cracked all over, big rust spots on the refrigerator, dirt accumulated in the glass door tracks, lots of roaches & ants, stains on the kitchen countertop,moldy under the kitchen sink, a gaping hole in the counter near the dishwasher...maintanance sucks & they need to be reminded agian & again and yet they have not completed their job and adding to it the maintanance crew is rude & have no respect for the tenant's belongings. The refrigerator & the front door looks dented...I wonder what the previous tenant were doing in here...had fights & threw things around...'''' The Property Manager Laura gives me an explanation that she recently moved into a house which was more filthy than this & she did all the cleaning work. Hey, I do not want to hear about what you went through...you are supposed to make sure the apt is clean & do the repairs before anyone moves in...that is your job. I don't care what's happening in your life. You do what you are supposed to do & see that your crew does the work promptly.
Last but not the least, we saw a small black snake inside near our front door. I called the maintanance next day to send soemone to check for holes in the front door...it's been more than 10 days, nobody came. That shows how much less they care for their tenants. Also the Orkin guy once told me "It's Florida, you should be expecting roaches & ants"!!!! We can't wait to move-out from here once the lease is done. No wonder people are buying houses now.
Please do not move in here. The landscape might look beautiful & management is not good.
