Please listen to me when I say "Do not stay here!!!!" This place is the worst place to stay. There is dog S@#$ everywhere on the ground. There are more dogs than humans that live here. Let's not forget about the fact that big a@# dogs run around without a leach. Plus, loose dogs will s@#$ at your front door (believe me it happened to me and I notified the office of it several times and they never came and picked it up-> My fiance had to pick it up). They love to trick people when signing a lease. When my finance and I signed the lease, we were supposed to move into a two bedroom apartment. Unfortunately, by their mistake, they did not have any available. Instead, they told us they would put us in a three bedroom and would block off the third bedroom to anyone else and NO ONE would be able to lease it. That was a joke!!!! All of a sudden, today, I get a call saying they were putting a 26 year man in the apartment with me and my fiance. How ackward will that be' When we reminded them of the deal they made with us, they said tough luck, deal with it, or pay for the other bedroom. (Always get EVERYTHING in writing). It floods here all the time when it rains. The maintence suck. You have to pay for every single utility there is. I have to pay for gas, electric, water, sewer, storm water, fire service, phone, internet, and I even have to pay for garbage. They never come and fix anything. There have been shootings several times since I have been here in the past 8 months. It is supposed to be an onsite cop but that isn't any help. There were about ten cop cars here around 2 months ago of a shooting in one of the buildings (fighting over a video game). When spring/summer came, we requested to have the heat changed back to AC and they took about three weeks just switch the AC back. Yes, believe it. They have the oldest AC system I have ever known. My fiance and I suffered in heat for quite a long time. Worst of all, when we first moved in, there were termites in the kitchen. When we presented knews to the office, the office refused to believe us that we had termites in the winter time and did not send anyone down to the apartment to check. I had to keep going down there and running my mouth in order to get the maintence workers down to my apartment. When that happened, he agreed that we had termites. Unfortunately, all he did was seal the holes off with seal off. Now, I am not an expert at termites, but if they can eat wood, what good would fill the holes that they already ate through going to do' It made them worst. They started chewing the wood a lot worst than they did before and started spreading throughout the apartment. We couldn't even cook in the kitchen because there were so many of them. Finally, after threatening the office that we would take drastic measures of contacting a lawyer they finally called the pest control guy. As soon he walked in our apartment he said we a bad case of subturanian termites. He put some stuff in the ground and sprayed all over the apartment. We lived with those termites, flying crazy and chewing up the wood, for three months. There are a lot of parties especially during fall semester. It is very loud. Definately not a place for someone who is serious about studying. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, all of these things occurred at this one place in just 8 months and we never not once got an apology. In fact, today when I went to the office they told me I owed them an apology for being mad at them.
