Where to I begin....
I lived in 1111 before Booth bought it out, and I didn't really have problems then. If anything was broken, it was fixed right away. But NOW that Booth owns it, there have been SO many problems.
For one, it is IMPOSSIBLE to get anything fixed. My washer/dryer leaked for a MONTH before they finally fixed it. Then my dishwasher broke, and it took about a month of filing maintence reports to get it fixed. My AC is STILL broken after they replaced my AC unit that worked beautifully. I call CONSTNATLY to have it fixed, but to no avail.
The parking lot is DARK, and as a woman, I always felt nervous at night time.
The front office told me the wrong rent amount, and then 3 months later I got slapped with a bill for 800 dollars to make up for the 3 months of insufficient rent checks. And everytime I went to the leasing office to pay my rent, I stood in line because SO many people were having problems with the complex that they had to complain.
The front office personal are obnoxious and not accomidating at all. I got a job in South Florida and had to relocate, and my new apartment complex is having a terrible time getting rental history from High Park. Also, if you have to leave early, you will probably still end up paying your rent until your lease is officially up. 1111 is not helpful with subleasing, and they will demand their money.
Not to mention, the complex is dirty and parking is a pain in that sometimes you cannot find a spot by your apartment.
Bottom line, do not waste your money. You can find better student housing for less money somewhere else.
